We are a designer consignment boutique and take pride in our authentication policies.  When you consign with Deja Nue you receive designer treatment:

1.       Professional authentication

2.       Professional photographs that will be displayed on our website

3.       An e-mail with an attached appraisal document and consignment policies

4.       We will contact you regarding your initial listing price 
Why Consign with Deja Nue?
Our passion is designer handbags and accessories.  We are based in Orange County, California and have access to a strong retail market.  We use all the latest and greatest marketing techniques to quickly sell our products.  Our experience in designer retail products sets us aside from our competition. 
We offer a "Unique Boutique" experience.  Aside from our online storefront, we also have events throughout the Southern California area that offer you the opportunity to "Drop and Shop".  You can drop off handbags for consignment and/or you could shop for new handbags and take them home right away.  Finally, we are also offering our Orange County, CA customers free local delivery (restrictions apply, so visit our shipping page for more information).

Fees

Our fees are based on a sliding scale.  This allows the consignor to earn more money for their products.

What Next?

Keep in mind that Deja Nue will only accept authentic (gently used) items.  There is no tolerance for counterfeit items.  Be sure that your items are in “almost new” condition.  This includes ensuring that the items have been cleaned professionally if needed.  Prior to shipping your items, please contact us at 888-NUE-BAGS so that we can discuss your item prior to shipping them.

Package your items securely (include all your personal information so that we can contact you) and ship them via UPS, USPS, FedEx or DHL.  Print out and sign our Consignment Agreement formPlease include at least 2 of the following items with your shipment to equip us with the tools needed to authenticate your items:

·         Original purchase receipt

·         Manufacturer’s authentication card and/or registration card

·         Legible serial number or hologram

·         Original packaging

·         Original price tag

·         Manufacturer’s dust bag

Be sure that you purchase insurance and track the shipment.  Once your items are received, we will notify you immediately via e-mail.  It could take up to 2-weeks to authenticate your items, so be patient with us.  Once your item has been authenticated, we will contact you via e-mail with an appraisal document.  One of us will also contact you via the telephone to go over the appraisal information with you.  That’s it!!!

If your bag is not in “almost new” condition or if we question its authenticity we will return the bag to you at your expense plus a $35 authentication fee.  If you have questions prior to sending your items, please send us an e-mail at info@dejanue.com.

Payment Information

Once your item has sold on our website, we will notify you via e-mail.  Once the 5-day return window passes, we will issue a payment.  Check will be generated on the 1st and  15th of every month.  Your payment will be included in the next payment cycle.
